Corporate shills celebrate paid Uniparty reps passing their bill to defund and destroy America

House Republicans lifted President Donald Trump’s $4.5 trillion spending cuts and deficit increasing bill to final passage Thursday, overcoming multiple setbacks to approve his signature second-term policy package before a self-imposed Fourth of July deadline. Trump is expected to sign the bill tomorrow at 5 p.m. ET.

The tight roll call, 218-214, came at a potentially high political cost, with two Republicans joining all Democrats opposed. GOP leaders worked overnight and the president himself leaned on a handful of skeptics to drop their opposition and send the bill to his desk to become law.

The outcome delivers a milestone for the president and his party, a longshot effort to compile a lengthy list of GOP priorities into what they called his “one big beautiful bill,” an 800-plus page package. With Democrats unified in opposition, the bill will become a defining measure of Trump’s return to the White House, with the sweep of Republican control of Congress.

Katie Miller—who left Trump’s White House with Elon Musk—surfaces at xAI

No.1418155 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
https://fortune.com/2025/07/03/katie-miller-trump-white-house-elon-musk-xai/
On Wednesday evening, Elon Musk’s xAI sent a rare email to reporters—alerting them that it had received a much-anticipated permit to use gas-powered turbines at its Memphis data center despite blowback from the surrounding community about pollution.

The notice was unusual. For one, it’s rare for xAI—the company that includes X, formerly Twitter, or any of Musk’s other wide array of ventures—to ever engage with the media. Musk famously disbanded the media relations teams across all of his companies years ago, and they now only communicate with the public via social media posts and retain full control of the narrative. xAI has repeatedly ignored reporters’ questions, including from Fortune, about its operations in Memphis or its use of generators that critics say spew toxic pollution.

But there was something else unusual about the email: It was from Katie Miller, wife of Stephen Miller, President Donald Trump’s deputy chief of staff.

Katie Miller, a seasoned political operative and communications manager, was among Musk’s highest-profile allegiants while he was a White House adviser and at the Department of Government Efficiency. Trump’s Press Secretary, Karoline Leavitt, has credited Katie Miller as “a critical reason DOGE was able to get off the ground.” But as the alliance between Trump and Musk frayed, Katie Miller exited the White House at the end of May, reportedly to work full-time for Musk at his various ventures, according to CNN. Stephen and Katie Miller have not spoken publicly about her departure from the White House, nor her work with Musk.

US sees spate of arrests of civilians impersonating Ice officers

No.1417270 View ViewReplyLast 50OriginalReport
https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025/jun/28/civilians-impersonating-ice-officers
>Police in southern California arrested a man suspected of posing as a federal immigration officer this week, the latest in a series of such arrests, as masked, plainclothes immigration agents are deployed nationwide to meet the Trump administration’s mass deportation targets.
>The man, Fernando Diaz, was arrested by Huntington Park police after officers said they found a loaded gun and official-looking documents with Department of Homeland Security headings in his SUV, according to NBC Los Angeles. Officers were impounding his vehicle for parking in a handicapped zone when Diaz asked to retrieve items inside, the police said. Among the items seen by officers in the car were “multiple copies of passports not registered under the individual’s name”, NBC reports.
>Diaz was arrested for possession of the allegedly unregistered firearm and released on bail.
>The Huntington Park police chief and mayor accused Diaz of impersonating an immigration agent at a news conference, a move Diaz later told the NBC News affiliate he was surprised by.
>Diaz also denied to the outlet that he had posed as an officer with border patrol or Immigration and Customs Enforcement (Ice). At the news conference, police showed reporters paper they found inside his car with an official-looking US Customs and Border Protection header.
>The arrest is one of several cases involving people allegedly impersonating immigration officials, as the nationwide crackdown on undocumented immigrants intensifies.
>Experts have warned that federal agents’ increased practice of masking while carrying out immigration raids and arrests makes it easier for imposters to pose as federal officers.
>Around the country, the sight of Ice officers emerging from unmarked cars in plainclothes to make arrests has become increasingly common.

Dog Dragged to death

No.1418202 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
Hello my friends,

I request your help to locate as much information as possible to locate this duche bag. His license plate is 9KZA855 California. Post as much information, so we can locate him. Thank you! Read information below and watch video below:

On July 2, 2025, at approximately 5:45 p.m., witnesses observed a red and brown Doberman being dragged behind a vehicle traveling at an estimated 30 miles per hour near the 9100 block of Edgewood Drive in Spring Valley. Witnesses reported that the dog was flipping over while being dragged, and that the driver appeared to laugh and ignored bystanders’ attempts to intervene. The incident continued for several minutes along Bancroft Drive.

“This is a truly shocking act of cruelty,” said County Animal Services Director Vaughn Maurice. “We are doing everything we can to identify the person responsible and ensure they are held accountable. We need the community’s help. If you saw anything or know who was involved, please contact us immediately. Your tip could make all the difference for this innocent animal.”

Witnesses described the suspect as a white male in his thirties with long gold or brown hair and a red beard. The vehicle involved was described as an older model black Jeep Cherokee. Investigators have determined that the vehicle may have previously been owned by another individual, and they are working to locate the current owner.

Penn to erase Lia Thomas records, ban transgender athletes from women's sports in Title IX agreement

The University of Pennsylvania has agreed to prohibit transgender athletes from competing in women's sports and strip the record of former swimmer Lia Thomas as part of an agreement with the U.S. Department of Education.

Penn entered the resolution agreement Tuesday, July 1 to comply with Title IX, the DOE announced, as the university had been under investigation surrounding the case of Thomas, who became the first openly transgender athlete to win a NCAA Division I title.

Under the agreement, Penn will restore the swimming records and titles of its female athletes that were broken by Thomas. The university will also not allow transgender athletes to compete in female athletic programs, and it has to send personal apology letters to impacted swimmers

Elon Musk announces "America Party" will be formed immediately if Trump's budget passes

https://www.businessinsider.com/elon-musk-vows-create-america-party-trump-spending-bill-passes-2025-6
Elon Musk said he will form a new political party if President Donald Trump's spending bill passes.
Earlier on Monday, he vowed to defeat politicians who support the bill in their primaries.
Musk has repeatedly criticized the Big Beautiful Bill.

Elon Musk ramped up his fight against President Donald Trump's Big Beautiful Bill on Monday, vowing to form a new political party if it passes Congress.

"If this insane spending bill passes, the America Party will be formed the next day," Musk said in a post on X. "Our country needs an alternative to the Democrat-Republican uniparty so that the people actually have a VOICE."

Earlier Monday, Musk vowed to defeat politicians who support Trump's bill, saying, "They will lose their primary next year if it is the last thing I do on this Earth."

The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Musk, who stepped away from his work with the White House and DOGE last month, has been outspoken about his complaints with the bill, calling it a "disgusting abomination."

Once the "first buddy" to the president, Musk and Trump publicly feuded earlier in June. It appeared to stem from Musk's public distaste for the Big Beautiful Bill.

Musk has called out the bill for adding to the federal deficit and said it undermines the work DOGE did to cut back government spending. He also said over the weekend that the bill "gives handouts to industries of the past while severely damaging industries of the future."

Trump previously called Musk "crazy" in response to his criticism of the bill and floated the idea of canceling his government contracts.

The Tesla billionaire has previously floated the idea of creating a new political party.

UK to provide Ukraine with 100,000 drones by April 2026

No.1409691 View ViewReplyLast 50OriginalReport
Sauce: https://kyivindependent.com/uk-to-provide-ukraine-with-100-000-drones-by-april-2026/

The United Kingdom pledged on June 4 to supply Ukraine with 100,000 drones by the end of the financial year in April 2026, after saying that unmanned aerial vehicles have changed the way modern wars are fought.

The drone package – valued at £350 million ($473 million) – is part of a broader £4.5 billion military support initiative for Ukraine and marks a tenfold increase from a target of 10,000 in 2024 to 100,000 in 2025, the U.K. government said.

"The UK is stepping up its support for Ukraine by delivering hundreds of thousands more drones this year and completing a major milestone in the delivery of critical artillery ammunition," Defense Secretary John Healey said in a statement.

The increase in drone support is timely, as it follows Ukraine's successful Operation Spiderweb on June 1. As part of the operation, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) smuggled 117 drones into Russian territory, striking four airbases and damaging 41 military aircraft.

In addition to drone deliveries, the U.K. government confirmed the delivery of 140,000 artillery shells to Ukraine since January and will spend an additional £247 million ($334 million) this year to train Ukrainian troops.

"We are learning lessons every day from the battlefield in Ukraine, which British companies are using to develop advanced new drones to help protect Ukraine’s civilians and also strengthen our own national security," Healey said.

On June 2, the U.K. government endorsed an independent Strategic Defense Review that called for a more technologically advanced military to counter emerging threats, including potential Russian aggression. Citing the war in Ukraine, the review emphasized the importance of drones and digital warfare.

Trump admnistration sues Los Angeles over its sanctuary city policies

No.1417033 View ViewReplyLast 50OriginalReport
https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/justice-department/trump-administration-sues-los-angeles-sanctuary-city-immigration-polic-rcna216011

WASHINGTON — The Trump administration has sued the city of Los Angeles over its immigration policies, claiming that the city's law discriminates against federal law enforcement by treating them differently from other law enforcement authorities.

The lawsuit was filed in the Central District of California, and notes up top that Donald Trump "campaigned and won the presidential election on a platform of deporting the millions of illegal immigrants the previous administration permitted, through its open borders policy, to enter the country unlawfully."

The suit, which names Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass, the City Council and City Council President Marqueece Harris-Dawson as defendants, claims that Los Angeles' laws and policies obstruct the enforcement of immigration laws. A spokesperson for Bass did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

"Sanctuary policies were the driving cause of the violence, chaos, and attacks on law enforcement that Americans recently witnessed in Los Angeles," Attorney General Pamela Bondi said in a statement. "Jurisdictions like Los Angeles that flout federal law by prioritizing illegal aliens over American citizens are undermining law enforcement at every level — it ends under President Trump."

President Donald Trump wants UFC fight on White House grounds

No.1418032 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
https://www.espn.com/mma/ufc/story/_/id/45663941/president-trump-mulls-ufc-fight-white-house-grounds

DES MOINES, Iowa -- President Donald Trump said Thursday that he is thinking of staging a UFC match on the White House grounds with upward of 20,000 spectators to celebrate 250 years of American independence.

"We have a lot of land there," said Trump, a UFC enthusiast who has attended several mixed martial arts events in recent months and is close friends with UFC president Dana White.

Trump addressed his plan in Iowa during the kickoff for a year's worth of festivities to celebrate America's 250th birthday on July 4, 2026.

The Republican president also announced a culminating festival on the National Mall in Washington, D.C., and a separate athletic competition featuring high school athletes from across the country.

"So every one of our national parks, battlefields and historic sites are going to have special events in honor of America 250. And I even think we're going to have a UFC fight," Trump said.

″Think of this on the grounds of the White House," he said, adding that it would be a "full fight" with 20,000 to 25,000 people.

A White House spokesperson said they had no details to share beyond the president's announcement, but White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt later said Trump was "dead serious" about those plans.

Trump has recently enjoyed standing ovations and cageside seats for several UFC fights, including an appearance immediately after his 2024 reelection and another last month alongside White for two championship fights.
