>>34399290Seems like he's got everything completely ass backwards thinking Pippa is holding back the new girls by being weird and 4chan-y when no, the new girls are held back by not being weird and 4chan-y enough.
Weird/wacky people and personalities stick out and gain traction, not boring normal girls in college or whatever, not just by themselves without a giant name (aka holo or niji) backing them up. Debuting a normal college girl vtuber in a small corpo vs a big one is like introducing a very ordinary/boring new menu item in a single or small restaurant chain town vs McDonald's bringing in a new but "safe"/boring item. The safe item works for McDonald's because the audience is broad enough to not expect much more/better and to be happy that it's mostly what they always do but with a slight difference, because they very much like that thing they always do. The whole meta of "don't fix what isn't broken" doesn't apply to the small restaurant - there IS no crowd of millions of customers for it established. That new boring menu item won't even be noticed. What the little restaurant needs are interesting menu items to make it stand out and get word out there. Pippa is that legit, Lumi is that (at least in terms of game taste).
Fishman you are not the ceo of fucking mcdonald's, you aren't gonna grow for shit by pretending you're in the big leagues. Note that McDonald's never discontinued the big mac even though on its own, if you had never seen it you'd think it's kind of a weird-ass sandwich. Yet it's beloved as an anchor product. Pippa is your anchor product. Fuck's sake man.
