Asmongold, Esfand, all those "wow streamers" who moved to FFXIV got huge viewership BECAUSE OF THE DRAMA of WoW falling apart, NOT because FFXIV is a good stream. Twitch crowds ADORE drama more than any actual content on-screen.
FFXIV is without a doubt, an absolutely terrible game to stream, with the absolute slog of an early-game, stream sniper/stalkers, and the total amount of time required to play.
