People think it is PST pandering but actually, starting at like 4-6pm is a bit too early for a lot of Californians because we might still be at work, commuting etc. Fine for students sure but why call that the real peak if it does not get some of the working crowd.
The slot is -partially- for PST but it actually correlates to about 7-9pm EST - where the majority of the US population actually is and the time most people will have come back from and maybe even had dinner or walked their dog or whatever and have some time to chill. PST start time IS the EST slot too, and also is pretty good for central and okay but logical for PST. It is the true golden window. If they started at EST 4pm that is like 1pm PST and too early for most, and probably too early for a lot of central too.
IMO management is the ones doing this actually not the girls. At least for these first couple weeks.
