Back when the dark knight was released, there was a flood of joker artwork centered around chaos, end society, etc. I think the recession and things like occupy wall street really fed into it and made the art get made for years.
I have a friend who just saw the dark knight for the first time, and I wanted to find some of the old wallpapers and such that were made around that time, but it seems like a lot of them have been drowned in the indicies. There is a lot of the newer jokers, especially the Joaquin Phoenix one.
Does anyone have an old folder laying around of the joker wallpapers from that 2008~2013 era? I think at this point it's more about the nostalgia, since in hindsight a lot of them were pretty cringe
I'm not sure what to call this specific aesthetic, but it's something like this. I can feel the brisk cold, the damp yet fresh scent in the air. Reminds me of a gloomy autumn. Will post a few more too.
