They live binary to another habitual planet and also have a moon that orbits both (via the barycenter), the celestial bodies also orbit a binary dwarf star system (white and red).
They look like carnivora but are more related to fungal life on earth. They grow to 8 to 10 feet due to the planets size being about 0.8 of earth. They have a soft exoskeleton and an inner skeleton. Their nerves are outside their body.
