These are really cool. I like how you use tape to create some lines on some of those (at least from what I can tell). The colors, I would describe them as muffled, greyish, kinda muddy. Which is a good thing, as it adds up to the atmosphere. When you try to do more colorful stuff, its also really cool, as some of those "muddy" colors transfer over and give these a sense of unease. You should expand on that, work on some other bright colors apart from orange, perhaps some hot pink or even green.

Thanks a lot for such a detailed answer! I actually draw on my phone, but I want to try drawing on paper soon, too. I’ll take your advice about the bright green and pink colors to heart—maybe I’ll come up with a drawing using them.

This is excellent. I could see it being on the wall at a kindergarten or children’s hospital and I mean that with no sarcasm. Saved.

I get that. The anxiety is a bitch and a half to get over, but you do eventually (especially when you really, really need the cash). A trick I learned from a friend is to just do enough to make rent/bills and then a little more so you can have extra. It’s even easier if you have a part time job to lessen the burnout.
Pricing is a bit harder, but your work is great. Try $50-$75. That way it equals to a minimum wage for a day of work. If they complain, let them complain, personalized art IS a luxury.

Also, try YouTube! They are really pushing short form videos and posts for now. You could also get revenue from it once you hit 1,000 subs.

50 to 75 for just a sketch or colour too? I keep seeing people say that you need to price yourself super low starting out. I feel like 18 for a full body sketch (Like>>835087) is too much

You can't sell supply without any demand, really.

Build an audience, Tiktok's algorithm is pretty okay but it's full of children who don't have money. I'd recommend posting fanart of popular fandoms and ships, it gets your work to a certain demographic and can weed out anyone you don't want as a customer.

Also animation memes do well on tiktok's alg. Even if you suck at tweening if your artstyle appeals to a wide audience it's pretty easy to grow an audience.
