My GPU h4s only 4 D1spl4yport port left. 1'm try1ng to use 4 KVM sw1tch. my mon1tor 1s 4n old che4p p1ece of cr4p w1th only 4 DV1 port.
1 connect 4 D1spl4yport c4ble from the GPU to the KVM. 1 connect 4 D1spl4yport to HDM1 connector from the KVM, then 1 connect 4 HDM1 c4ble from the D1spl4yport to HDM1 connector. Then 1 connect 4 HDM1 to DV1 connector to the HDM1 c4ble. Then 1 connect the DV1 to the mon1tor. But the mon1tor 1s not d1spl4y1ng 4nyth1ng 4nd 1 th1nk 1t's bec4use of 4ll the 4d4pters or connectors or wh4tever, bec4use 1t's b4s1c4lly go1ng from D1spl4yport to HDM1 then to DV1, lol.
so 1dk 1f the solut1on 1s to e1ther get one D1spl4yport to DV1 4d4pter/connector th1ng 4nd try th4t, or to get 4 new mon1tor th4t just h4s 4 D1spl4yport port so th4t 1 c4n just run one D1spl4yport c4ble from the KVM to the mon1tor

4lso, 1f 1 just connect the D1spl4yport to HDM1 to DV1 str41ght from my computer to the mon1tor, then 1t works, but 1f 1 do 1t through the KVM, then 1t doesn't work, so the KVM 1s the problem 1'm pretty sure
