>>823940I feel the same way as you. I've been technically "drawing" for longer than you, since I was about 12 years old I've been doodling animeslop. My doodling was always very inconsistent and unserious though, sometimes I went years without ever picking up a pencil and I never thought drawing was something I wanted to do. At most I would draw very poorly done anime faces on the margins of my papers at school and other drawings like that, forgettable stuff that mostly ended up in the trash. Fastforward and now I'm middle aged and just started drawing seriously about three or four years ago. I do not feel like an artist at all, I still feel painfully mediocre, even though other people seem to disagree.
