I moved out to Southern Wisconsin a few years ago, and for the life of me I cannot find a suitable pavement only bike trails, everything here is a gravel trails on old railroad paths.
AllTrails filters dont seem to work as all the trails I tried so far are at least half gravel.
I have a nice Trek Madone on slicks that I cannot take anywhere fun. And no, I will not share the road with car traffic.
I've been using my single speed gravel bike in the meantime.
I am willing to drive 45 minutes out, looking for a 10-20 mile loops or one ways.

I can't say I like the looks of bikes with bags and all, but I do hate the lack of praticality of a bike with nothing on it at all. I dislike saddlebags as much as anyone else but I'll be damned if I ever leave the house without a spare tube.
