Typical of boomers: ah, now they're being silly, uh, how heating plastic with food is going to be dangerous (microplastics), uuh, nonsense, uuh, everything was better before (we're great, think). And an abysmal etc. ------ I hate this old (people) boomers with all my soul.
The meaning of life? I’ll do it in five words. Enjoying the passage of time. That’s it. It’s enjoying the passage of time. The chances of us being here right now are so small. The chances of us existing at all. It’s not just that our parents had to meet at exactly the right moment but their parents, and their parents, and theirs, going back billions of years to when we first climbed out of the primordial soup. The odds of this happening are incalculable. And yet, here we are. We have this shot. We’re breathing. We’re alive. We’re healthy. This is incredible. Enjoying the passage of time is about all I got and its enough.
I’m starting to think ehehe is right, 4chan is being influenced by glowies. There’s been an uptick in rage posting across all boards. I was browsing /a/ and everyone has been unusually angsty. /int/ has been /pol/ lite for the past few weeks. /v/ and /tv/ look normal at a glance but I hardly ever use them because they’re normie trash Reddit lite. /news/ is filled to the brim with raging schizophrenics but I guess you could argue it always has been. /lit/ is more obsessed with celebrities than actually reading. /biz/ seems to be teetering on the edge of a ritualistic mass suicide (just like the markets lol). /wsg/ has been colonized by TikTok zoomers and sharty teens. /rk9/ is more obsessed with suicide and politics and fapping to trannies for once. You can’t even look at anime girls with guns on /k/ because everyone on there won’t stop calling you a Russian/Euro shill (republicans think we’re at war with europoopoos now or something, IDK.) And /bant/ has just been mean and hateful recently. But it’s not just 4chan, it’s everywhere. On all social media platforms. People are raging, even normies. I believe the trump admin is trying to rally people up with rage-bait in hopes it saves them in the midterms (it won’t). Because all the raging seems to be coming from right wingers, the most common narratives I’ve seen spouted are: “They’re gonna take ‘er gunz!” “They’re gonna cheat!” “Muh wokeness!” “2nd American civil war!” These narratives are parroted everywhere, it’s so obviously shilled it hurts.
