Can any greek help me? I need a greek flag person, not an armchair theologan or person who learned greek at bible college. As in born in greece, native speaker, who also speaks english. I cant afford to fly to greece. I did the research into the Bible myself already for many thousands of hours, am not retarded, and read multiple translations. About a decade of study. I am looking into the original greek to see what it meant but I don't speak greek and don't know if it's as simple as using google translate because ideas can be complex.
Pharmakia Aionios Aion
Are the words I need detailed explanation into. I dont speak greek, born in america, white, only speak english.
im trying to see if the Bible bans drugs and medicine due to the word pharmakia being used, and if the Bible says God is going to eternally torture people in greek. I don't believe in eternal torture and never will and think it's extremely unlikely God is banning drugs and medicine but I don't know everything.
I don't believe God is going to eternally torture anyone because I don't think God is evil and I think eternal torture is evil. I'm seeing if the Bible lines up with what I believe about God.
Can any of you greek bros help me?
What does Aionios mean and what does Aionios mean and what can they mean depending on context? I read they can mean mulitple things. I read they can mean a time period or an age of time. That they don't necessarily mean forever, eternal, permanant.
Also what does the word "pharmakia" mean? Does it mean something related to pharmacy, drugs, medicine, narcotics? Or does it actually mean witchcraft/sorccery/magickal practices which seems counter intuitive since it has "pharm" in it.
