How bad are the cold and heat for toys? A large amount of them (NECAs, Transformers, Masters of The Universe Origins, some figmas) are in my basement and a few years ago in the winter my basement flooded and had to open two windows to connect pump things to a hose (Or something like that) and I think last year I think it was really hot or humid in it.

With NYCC around the corner, what /toy/ reveals are you most excited for? What do you expect?

Lots of toy companies, Hasbro already confirmed presence like every year. Mattel is rumoured to showcase their upcoming MotU movie toy line.

Hasbro is also rumoured to reveal their Tron toy line there.

The largest domestic toy company is not a toy company. They make the majority of their profit from wotc.

Toys are basically dead outside of bootlegs (gundam, transformers, mess toys) and japanese companies.

I'm calling it. Hasbro will be shutting down its toy divisions by 2030. They might still make a couple toys like Mr. Potatohead, but I don't see a reason for them to make toys, when they can just keep making universes beyond mtg sets that make billions for very little effort (especially since ai art is going to replace a ton of card game artists over the next 5 years).

Scott neitlich always said figures only existed to show other companies, hasbros ability to make good toys, but movies and games toys aren't even profitable anymore. Tron ares failed, and got an entire toyline that will be sent straight to ollies.

Unless hasbro reveals jujutsu kaisen classified series, or demon slayer legends this company is cooked.
