Very handy especially if youre living pacific side (Australian here) cause shipping is free. You can find all sorts of discontinued old gacha, surplus and genuine American figures like black series, surprisingly decent bootlegs (except for figmas, all figma bootlegs are fucking shit) and their own products are getting better and better each year.

Their non Lego brands are better priced and offer more variety than Lego ever will and their anime action figures are basically import quality now. Aliexpress is often the best place to get either.

yeah despite what others say alot of the time these more obscure figures are just rejects

This is what you have a hobby knife for. Any plastic fused with cement is essentially one contiguous piece now. Or you could just use more cement to break it apart again lol.

I got a X-shot Motorized Rage Fire. I took out the gatling parts and built a new outer barrel thing. It is supposed to be a WH40k Heavy Stubber now. This is for larp purposes

there's been exactly two fucking foam guns im into in the last year, the Rival Breakaction Pistol and the Dart Zone Pro Folding Jolt thing. Neither are sold where I am and are both seemingly impossible to find online. so yeah, I think if I cant get the only 2 blasters I'd want the entire concept of foam blasters is functionally dead at mainstream.

It's only legally required for selling but it is an extremely good idea to paint the tip orange if you ever plan to use it outdoors in a public area. Pretty much every club in the US has it as a rule just so a member of the public doesn't call the cops and get the group shut down.

I know, because I am 19 and even I can remember when DBZ was airing on Toonami. It ended in early 2008, so my memories are slim and fuzzy, but I remember it airing then. Then i remember seeing promos of it for it coming to NickToons along with Yu-Gi-Oh (which was short lived) and a new Speed Racer Cartoon.

I remember a lot of the early ones using that material. They used it on almost everything, even stuff you wouldn't expect like the original frog, rhino and seel.

okay, sure, at the time, but well after that point they stopped using that material. i know because i own a shit load of them and i could probably count on one hand the amount that actually had that material.
hence it's very difficult to call it a 'normal' material considering what set the precedent for the majority of them

I've got 7 detolfs, a Neutype double door cabinet, a wall shelf, and two book shelves that I put a row of figures in front of the books. Other than a third bookshelf which can be accented with figures like the others, that's all I plan to get. The Neutype(picture isn't mine, just an example) is what I went with after detolfs became $130 and while it was a bitch to build, it looks better than the detolfs imo since it doesn't have the railing on the sides. However, there are some bootleg detolfs on Amazon that also forego the rails. I tend to prefer cabinets since even without dustproofing they let in so little dust for it to be a non-issue, though there's something neat about figures being out in the open and being able to tweak their poses at the drop of a hat.

When I lived in San Francisco, I had a huge ass railroad flat and only one roommate and I brought my old Lionel train and literally had it on the crown molding that went up along the walls. Sadly, while I was away at school, my mom had moved things around in the old metal storage shed my dad had constructed in the back yard, and even though it had a proper cement slab, she allowed the boxes these were stored in to get wet and I could get the train set to 'go/turn on' any more. But they looked cool once I cleaned them up and removed the rust.

That double parlor (essentially two big rooms with those sliding doors in between that you see on some of those period piece TV shows) would have made a great collectible room.

It had a built in 'China Closet' that ran from floor to ceiling, so there would have been storage below, an open area, plus built-in shelves behind glass in at least two rows (sometimes three, depending on the size of the Victorian ceilings which could sometimes be 14 feet) for display.

I would love to live in someplace like that today, even if I didn't have way too many toys!
