This is why toy companies are dying. They're all too afraid to take risks anymore. KPop Demon Hunters is highly toyetic, and Mattel should have at least had some basic Barbies on the market for the Xmas season. In a year KPDH will have lost most of it's relevancy, which is probably why this is Mattel Creations. Mattel knows that with no new media, fickle kids will have moved on by then. This is a colossal blown opportunity. KPDH were the top selling Halloween costumes this year, becoming impossible for parents to find.

Why did the comedy genre die out

People will spend $1000 on a model kit, rather than spending $100 to paint a cheap one.

I despise lego and gundam fans. The level of fear (for getting out of your comfort zone) in these hobbies is crazy.

To gunpla fans: I'm begging you. Buy an airbrush compressor setup. Its cheaper than you think. If you cant buy a fume hood, paint outside. If you use acryllics you can paint inside.

Buy some primer and a leo. I'm begging you (on my hands and knees).

For lego fans, they literally complain about everything, when the whole point of lego is customization. Do you hate a new set? Ok build your own. Theres even free instructions online on rebrickable and other sites.

Was it really LEGO's worst theme? Or was it simply a case of wrong place, wrong time? Thought the mixing and matching of limbs was novel enough, does wear thin after an hour, though.
