Miniatures thread

Thoughts on these, they seem like some of these are good quality and look to be Max Steel or Barbie sized.

What are the odds they would make a super pack collecting them individually seems like a chore and expensive. I seen other packs but they were low quality and mostly made or card board cereal boxes or plastic bag products.

Discuss other miniatures here.

The old thread hit the image limit. Post original lego creations; even if you think they look bad.

Showing off my haul from my SEA trip. Not as fruitful as previously, even though I went to more countries. You guys may have been right about Singapore having nothing toy-wise, from what I've seen.

Think what you want about the games but the designs are cool and I've always wanted real non-legends tier figures of them

The Road To Recovery

No.11361014 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
The road to recovery is first admitting that nothing made by a domestic company is an "adult collectible", but was intended for children. There are no exceptions to this rule believe it or not. If you are ok with this thats fine, but its something you must admit.
The second is that any import is better than its domestic counterpart. people will try to find weird exceptions with dishonest comparisons. The truth is import companies have so much more freedom with what they can make. Theres a price arguement, but its unfair to compare socioeconomic factors. just compare figure to figure.
The third is that bootlegs are based. from Transformers Oversized KO, to snail shell, to Mafex, bootlegs serve an essential function when done well and we need more of them. I personally love my oversized titans return figures. yes this includes 3rd party. they are technically bootlegs, but also good bootlegs are based so do not feel ashamed or discouraged
The fourth is to collect what you want. do not collect figures because they are popular or rare. buy what you actually want.

Follow these principles /toy/ and you will achieve enlightenment.

Passed on this CultureFly Lydia figure from Five below because the only one that was there had pant defects. Now only two months later they're already being scalped for double. I'm pissed because I really wanted it for the goth vibez but I didn't want it too look crap. And I'm not paying $10-$15 for something that was originally five. I'm not letting the scalpers win.

Random 80s Toy Value?

No.11370911 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
I'm going to post four pics of some 80s toys I got. How I don't think I could reasonably sell them for on ebay? Is there another marketplace I should consider to sell them?
