I'm fucking tired of living in a city, but the reality is, good jobs can only be found there. My strategy is to stay here until I reach financial independence, then buy a small house in bumfuck nowhere so that I have internet connection and no people around me.

Hey /out/ I'll be moving to Colorado soon for my new job and I'm looking for tips on growing my own food throughout the seasons and weather conditions. I've never grown my own food before but I'll have a large backyard for the first time and I want to save some money.

It’s fucking over

I go on long hikes with friends, however sometimes I would like to sit down and admire the views and make myself some coffee or tea withound making a big campfire, I saw some bushcraft videos and everyone uses that IKEA kitchen stand to make small fires to cook something easy, put it out and move on.
I don't have much experience in making fires in the forest, the few times I did this I went with extreme caution but cops going after me are a pain in the ass. I know some people who do stealth camping that gave me tips in the past but I would like to know your general experiences and what is the best way to do it to not cause a forest fire and that the cops don't fuck me over it.
