question. when you're out hiking do you constantly take snack breaks?

whenever i watch american youtubers they take a snack break every 40 minutes it seems regardless if they are hungry or not. i'll do 20km and not feel famished enough for a "snack" until i'm able to eat the real food i packed.

snackpackers what we think??? is it a meme to take 3 bites off an oversized cookie then keep walking or what

Is it the best thing to do in Idaho? My bro is coming to town and in debating white water rafting, fishing, and hiking the grand tetons. Rafting looks expensive af. What should we do while hes up here. I also own a mountain bike.

(((The Elites))) hate forests because they allow you to hide from satellite monitoring.

This is why they are so incessant in cutting them all down.

Their end goal is to turn the entire planet into one big parking lot where all of their human cattle are tagged, monitored, and controlled so that their tribe may live as kings while everyone else is their slave.

Plant more trees goys. Nothing pisses off the demons in charge more than freshly planted trees that aren't mere cash-crops.

Tree planting is the best defense against GloboHomo.

first time foraging, got a few questions
east coast maryland btw

1. can i forage in a state park? MD DNR website says nothing about a permit and googling it doesn't seem to bring up anything. the only thing i could find on the DNR site was a how-to on foraging and recipes
https://dnr.maryland.gov/cookbook/Pages/Living-off-the-Land-in-Marylands-Forests.aspx

2. anything crucial i should bring? i was basically just going to bring a compass, knife, park map, backpack, long pants/socks, rain gear, and some plastic bags to put mushrooms and shit in

3. anything i should watch out for? i'm worried about a lone star tick turning me into a vegan

according to a youtuber's foraging calendar my plan is basically this:
>hike a little bit off a trail in a forested state park
>mark a spot on google maps on my phone so i don't get lost
>collect hella morels and chicken of the woods, maybe ramps and fiddlehead ferns and stuff that shit into my backpack
>don't die

Gathering

No.2818293 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
What should I bring to the Gathering this summer?
>live music, events, games
>topless qts
>all >>>/out/doors, electronics are taboo and manual labor is expected too so broccoli heads won't come
So far I'm planning on going as lightweight as possible.
>backpack with sleeping mat and cheap tent
>hatchet and misc tools
>firestarter, water, food to hold over until the kitchens start up
What else do I need?

There are at least two regional gatherings before the national gathering in July. Will you be camping with us?
