Me and 5 friends are going to the everglades for a 3 day 4 night camping trip. We will be hiking the coastal prairie trail and setting up at clubhouse beach, which is basically just a flat plain that butts up to the ocean (pic rel). Any considerations we should be taking beyond the basics like bug spray, bug netting, tons of water, firearm, etc?

Just get a large tent with a stove. That way you can move when you get caught, or if nearby land gets sold and developed, or wild game becomes scarce or something. Why would you build a permanent structure on land you don't own? Seems really dumb.

Hi /out/ I'm from /n/, I hope this is ok to ask here. My issue is that my skin is getting fucked up from too much time riding my bike. And no matter how much SPF I pile on, it just gets more and more leathery, blotchy, and random moles and freckles out of nowhere. At this rate I'm going to die of hyper-aggressive skin cancer. Does anything work? I've tried mineral, organic, hybrid, it all fails, it's only May and I've already got the most evil tan line under my watch strap. I'm not even spending that much time outside, maybe 6-8 hours a week, and I apply minimum SPF50, sometimes stronger. How do professional outdoor people like park rangers handle this?
