Also dont be a retard and stay in a city, it will be stressful as fuck. Go somewhere quiet so you can actually get some sleep. Dont take too much shit with you, just what you need everyday.
You can sleep with your doors and windows closed but it will greatly affect your sleep quality. So find a way to open up a window or door in the rain, I do this by just opening the trunk of an opel astra by a few cm which still doesnt let the rain through.
I spend all winter and spring in the Alps sleeping in an opel astra as a skibum and imo its not really uncomfortable. Although it can be a ripe cunt if you are stuck in the car for a long time bc of rain or something.
