My wife doesn't 'dislike' going camping but her list of needs for when we do go camping is so long and restrictive that it makes camping a total pain in the ass, especially organizing the trip.

It can't be:
>Too hot
>Too dry
>Too rainy
>Too high in elevation
>Too many bugs
>Too remote
>Too quiet
>Too minimal
>Too far away

Basically rules out about 75% of spots you could ever camp at. We still manage to go out a few times a year but Jesus, if you guys ever get married make sure you are aware of all this stuff before you do. And to top it off she gets really upset when I suggest going by myself. If you really love going /out/ more than anything in the world consider staying single bros.

/CCGG/ - Chinese Camping Gear General

No.2822649 View ViewReplyLast 50OriginalReport
The majority of camping gear we buy is just Chinese imported gear with a couple assembled parts locally to slap on a Made In X country tag and mark up the price by 3 times.

What is some gear you've bought from Chinese websites that turned out to be the same thing you could find locally, just cheaper or Chinese gear that turned out better than expected?

Flashlights, tents, sleeping gear, backpacks, tools?

Looking for a new chainsaw to do some trail maintenance and clearing occasional storm damage. Thinking about going cordless this time so i dont have to deal with the fumes when the saw sit at the back of my car all the time. Can they handle big trees if i got enough batteries? Anyone here owns one and can give some insight?

>Gardening, farming and related activities

Hello outers, I guess this can be asked here as I found pic related in a shed in my garden. That ball of yellow anger was sleeping soundly so I could take a picture, but how can I get rid of them? Gasoline? Some kind of spray? I'll ambush them at night just to be sure but I'll hear your suggestions. Thanks.
