I was looking into camping/hiking and touching grass again, I had an alice pack in the military a long time ago and that was alright, but is there high tec super light stuff out there now that carrys a lot? Id like a full frame pack that is as light as possible that could carry 50-70 lbs. What about actual waterproof? Or do you still need to wrap everything in garbage bags?

do anons have any fabric/fiber recommendations for clothing that protects against the sun and is not plastic?
i assume tighter weaves/knits are also better since there's less air between them, but i also don't want to die of heatstroke

This hasn't really got a thing to do with the outdoors. Actually the bugs in picrel are indoors. But I killed like 40+ of them in two hours late at night when I'm really sick and should be resting for my internship early tomorrow. And I hate the feeling of these bugs dropping from the ceiling and flying into my ear and I need to evaluate what kind of pest threat they are. What are they? Do any of you recognize them? How do I get rid of them?

>bury myself in my heavy down parka i keep in my truck for crap weather, try to drive back but starting to get delirious
>make it to a gas station where the high road meets highway, get them to call hospital
>get driven to hospital, docs have no clue what hit me, spend two days recovering
