What explains this? Is it literally just because of 1950s Western movies?

Why does batonning trigger people so much?

No.2821600 View ViewReplyLast 50OriginalReport
It's just a technique for splitting wood without having to carry a friggin 2 pound hatchet around. It's not religious sacrilege. If you insist on carrying your grandpa's stick tang hunting knife, go for it, but this seething hatred of modern gear and techniques is just goofy and cringe.

Drones in Europe / Drone general

No.2832257 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
Does anyone have any experience with drones in on your trips? I am specifically looking for info on Europe (Norway and Germany) as I am planning a trip to Dovre and the Jostedahls Glacier. I also want to get some nice shots in the alps if possible.

Any experience or resources greatly appreciated

Also post drones or drone pictures. Would love some inspiration on that front

Funko pop storage/vanlife

No.2833506 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
So I am almost at the stage for building an interior in my 2005 gmc savana and dont know how to design storage/decoration spots for all my funko pops. I thought other vanlifers would be able to help me with ideas. I currently have probably like 30 funkos but I plan to get rid of some before I head out in my van.

There are demons that live in the woods and many other /out/door places where you may go, even in abandoned buildings if you're going UrbExing. The Bible talks about this a lot.

Remember to keep Benedictine medals and other holy charms on your person at all times to ward off unclean spirits. And always pray to Jesus Christ to keep you safe.

/afg/ Artifacts and Fossils General #7 Op didnt forget to make a new thread edition

No.2812196 View ViewReplyLast 50OriginalReport
The purpose of this general is to encourage people to go /out/ and find cool fossils and artifacts. This thread is also a place to share our own collections and things we find when we are /out/ hunting.

Rules are as follows,
>To just post and discuss fossils and other related geological subjects.
>When you post about a fossil in your collection, please label it with what formation it is from, what it is, and where in the world it is from.
>If you don't know where it originated or the species that is ok, just label it as so
>You can post rocks and minerals as long a they are ones that you have found while /out/

Sorry for the lack of a post/new thread, Life has been far too hectic to keep up with this thread on the past few months and my last trip fossil hunting was last November. Pic related is a segment of fish spines that have feeding traces on them. I should hopefully be making another trip up to the Dallas area to do some more hunting soon.
