You really don't need flashy gear. Pentax have modular lenses so there's room to alter the ist DS, but you can just shoot good photographs with the original lens anyway.

Lets be honest. None of us have friends or models to shoot. None of us go to cool events to take photos. None of us are hired to do anything other than weddings (and even that is a stretch). We all actually only shoot landscapes. Post em boys. If you want to give constructive feedback you must also post a photo.

At what point does the love of an art form translate into some talent or skill at that art form? I love photography but I do not have any real talent for it yet. Would studying composition and basics from books help, or should I take a course?

Just got a 420-800mm f/8.3 vivitar lens for moon photography, any tips and tricks on getting good pictures and even in post processing?

My camera is an 800D/Rebel T7i and I'm using a tripod, using darktable to edit my photos.

Pic is the moon yesterday with aformentioned lens just to test it out, will be giving it a proper shot next full moon.
