Retard here, I'm trying to fix up my camera settings so it stops being so fucking blurry in close-ups, which is something that's been plaguing it even in ideal lighting. Please bear in mind that I'm an amateur photographer.
I'm going to upload some photos directly. from my camera so the EXIF data should automatically transfer over. The first will be in "auto" mode and has a noticable red filter that idk how to get rid of, the second will be with "Easy Mode" turned on
Just watching some price charts and it seems like photo paper has not escaped inflation, only that it took a while longer for old inventory to dry up and then create a new higher price floor compared to many other types of goods, so I am wondering how safe it is to purchase this stuff when it comes up for sale with the intention of long term storage to save some money.
I'm trying to think of places to do some photography with a friend who got a camera a few months ago but everywhere looks like this in winter. Any suggestions for where to go/what to shoot when there's no leaves on the trees? We live in the south so no cool snow shots and we hate going into cities.
Canon FD 20mm F2.8 SSC. Just got one and it has an ever so slight amount of fungus around the periphery on the rear element. Wondering if it comes right out. I see to notches for a lens tool there so I suspect it is a straightforward process, if not I will just leave it as is.
Why do so many youtube photographers take such ass photos? grainydays and his friend who is even more insufferable just take photos of trash. Matt Granger, despite having asian porn stars in his photos takes all these horrible hassleblad photos. Like the sumo photo he brags about just looks like pure ass. The only one who consistently takes good photos is that kiwi chick with the fat jaw who looks green in that snoy pic. I'd say its just because she takes photos of hot girls, but considering all the others taking ass photos that can't be the reason. even peta pixels take portraits of the camera guy where the lighting looks like ass
A Noctilux 50mm f1 and a Nokton 50mm f1.1. Turns out the Nokton is sharper in the center wide open, but has ever so slightly busier bokeh. The Nokton is priced at $400, the Noctilux $6000. It strikes me how autistic you have to be to justify such a price for what is now an antiquated lens that gets mogged by any modern first party 50mm F1.2 anyway.
Pic related is a "special edition" last 100 Leica Noctilux in a wooden presentation case that can be yours for just 26000 euros.
/x/ tourist here, I'm sick of blurry iPhone UFO pics and I'm gonna do something about it. I've never bought an actual camera before though so I need some guidance. Point me in the general direction of cameras that: >Boot up and get ready to take a pic as fast as possible >Have a setting that makes NO DIGITAL ENHANCEMENTS WHATSOEVER. The footage needs to be raw >Take pictures and video at the same time >Have optical zoom that can be activated and deactivated quickly >Have a tripod (I don't think digital stabilization would be a good substitute for filming unearthly movement) >Blah blah whatever I need to know about aircraft photography, I'm a noob here >Works in brightest day and blackest night (I'll buy two cameras if I have to) Price ain't a concern and neither is size, I'll just keep it in the backseat of my car if I have to. Analog vs digital doesn't matter either >Ackshually they're called UAP now I'm not going to call it that
Alright fagboys, convince me why should I sell my pen-f and buy a worm machine? the upgrade 100% does not seem worth it pancake (in FF equivalents) M43 is a 40mm f/3.4 Fuji is a 41 f/4.3 so Fuji is a half stop slower Telephoto prime M43 is 150mm f/3.6 fuji is 138mm f/3.1 so again, what is that, half a stop? 1/3rds of a stop? Macro m43 has the based 60mm f/2.8, does fuji have an equivalent? the 30mm is only a 46mm equiv so shit working distance compared to the 60mm (120mm equiv). the fuji 60mm is only 1:2. the Fuji 80mm is equivalent to the olympus 60mm (about the same focal lengths) and 1:1 but the olympus was like $500 so it will sell for like what, $300 if I am lucky vs paying $1,000 for the fuji lens. I really don't see any reason to "upgrade"
