Why is medium format always associated with shallow DoF when on most medium format film camera systems the fastest lens will be f/2.8 or f/4 which, when you convert the crop factor is still like f/1.5
I think the only lens I can think of on medium format which would have been commonly used and super fast is the pentax 105mm f/2.4 which has to have the most pukeola bokeh I've ever seen

How do you guys share your photos? Sometimes, people ask to see mine, but I don't have an Instagram or anything like that, so I just show them whatever I happen to have saved on Google Drive at that moment.

Why do so many film companies lie about their film speed? Delta 3200 is a 1000 iso film. portra 800 is like a 640 iso film. cinestill is vision 3 so 800t is 500t and 500d is 250d.

the iso number on the box is just based on iso 6 1993, which is a standard for a certain degree of film density with a certain degree of development. it has no practical use in photography. for bw film photography you should measure the actual speed of your film (which changes with development type and time, enlarger type and some other factors) as described by AA in "the negative".
as a rule of thumb you can assume that actual speed is around half of the one on the box for 400 iso films, and around 30% less for 100 iso films (64-80 iso).

This is how most photographers shoot, just spray and pray and sort through 1000s of images for the 50 or so that are "good enough" to then let Lightroom and Photoshop's autocorrect features fix up for them. Any event or wedding this is how the photographer operates, and most YouTube/Instagram "artists" do the same but with their glorified vacation photos. Street is this too, shove the camera in enough faces and a few are bound to be interesting. Volume is king and anyone can generate volume. Even in the film era once advanced enough cameras were available that was how many photographers operated. Simplicity and ease of use are fine and dandy but it requires less focus and skill to use well and this lowers the overall standards of the medium as people half-ass things and they're "good enough" because of all the crutches. And when good enough replaces good, well the bar for good enough also gets lower.
