why must the sky be so beautiful

Hi, can you guys help me? I'm trying to understand what makes the colors in these photos appealing. Is it the saturation, the yellow light from the Sun, or something else? Thanks

Hey guys! I've been shooting a DIY documentary in the observatory mode for over a year now about a local band. Throughout the year, I've shot the band throughout their everyday life and interviewed the members one-on-one in talking head segments. I plan to intercut the "fly-on-the-wall" moments with the talking heads. However, I can't think of any other documentaries that have done this off the top of my head (with the exception of Tiger King). I'd like to watch a few films in this style so I can get a better idea on pacing/editing. Do you guys have any documentary recommendations in the observatory mode with talking-head interviews? Especially if it's a music doc? Thanks!!!
