Is it faster to just use the SD card reader instead of plugging my camera into the PC? At the very least I think it will save battery.

Help identify this screw on SmallRig camera rig

No.4472171 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
Hey /p/, can anyone tell me what type of screw this is? It’s on a SmallRig baseplate

Part of a camera rig/baseplate that’s been mounted for a long time

I might have replaced the original screw at some point

Already tried Nimbus and Torx in various sizes, but none fit

I’ve attached a photo — please take a look and let me know if you’ve seen this type of screw before or know the exact thread/size. Thanks!

What do you anons do to organise your photos? Do you compile your snaps into Year Month sub folders on your hard drives? Where do you export? What is the best system to organise your snaps?

Manual Mode

No.4472039 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
I learned about the isolation triangle, aperture, ISO, and shutter speed, not by using an old film camera but a DSLR with manual mode. Am I just slow at learning this all? I needed immediate feedback by checking the preview on the display LCD. But, with film cameras, the labs adjust your photos in post-production before sending them back. It was just too hard to learn it all in my head, without any way to review what I had taken. Am I dumb? Is photography not for me?
