Have you ever touched an exposed light sensor? What does it feel like? How do you fix and/or clean a light sensor you fucked up by touching it?
Anonymous
>>4466400 The thing you touch with your grubby little nigger grabbers isn't actually the sensor, it's a layer of glass on top to protect it. You can still scratch this glass and fuck up the images that your sensor produces, however the actual photosites are not damaged. If your sensor has a fingerprint on it, you can just use a sensor cleaning kit, which is like a little squeegee the same size as your sensor.

The shot is really great and i was wondering if there was a specific studio that makes these kinds of photos? I was thinking of Harcourt in Paris, but no online confirmation that Tyler was photographied there. Also which camera/gear can produce this kind of quality?

>>4466358 Definitely not. You can only change the angle of the focal plane. You cant shorten it or change the overall shape. It will always carry through the entirety of the image. Perspective shift wouldn't achieve something like that either. Falloff is also too sharp.
Here's an example of using shallow DoF with front standard swing on 8x10.

OP all of you suspicions are right. Photography is greatest art medium but there is no money in it. I would suggest you to slide into film or painting. In both of these fields you can have a career and recognition for your work. I know utterly dog shit painters who live through by exhibiting their artwork. In comparison I know many good photographers stuck in dead end jobs and living in poverty. Irony is that they don't even get their share of recognition. You can try your hand at fashion/editorial type shit. Or do wedding photography. But these art mediums are not fulfilling and leave you with blue balls.

>>4463104 Photography is dead thanks to digital cameras and the internet. The era before internet and fully mechanical film slr's was the golden age of photography. The digital age is by far the worst age to live in. We have to go back to an analog world.

first of all, no, I'm not trying to learn it thru my phone camera. I just hate the elitists on among photography community. like damn, people gotta start from somewhere, mf sometimes be like 14 or from zimbabwe and just want to learn how to shoot better photos. best you can do is to guide them to the right path instead of making fun of them, fuck all of you elitist niggers. eat shit and fucking die

Jannie why did you delete my post about the strangeness of op saying he’s getting into film but then talking about a digital camera. If he has a language issue it’s a valid concern he explicitly stated he’s Mexican, I didn’t make it up!

>>4461808 It depends on the camera. If it's an IP camera it might get a bit tricky, but CAT-5 to RCA adapters exist, so might be worth giving it a shot.

I found item for sale on ebay, looks like the common and crappy canon18-55mm lens but there is a strange aperture where the front element should be, it doesn't look like a diy thing but factory made. I have never seen something like that, anyone knows that this might be? at first I thought it could be a display model but the description says it closes when the image stabilization is turned on.. makes it even more weird.
I'd buy it out of curiosity but it is in Canada

Just fucking ask. Its not that difficult to be a normal person. The dude relisted it with new photos and now we can clearly see that the entire inside of the lens is busted and things are probably rattling around, hence the aperture at the front.

>>4465986 Sellers of photographic equipment being retards can often be beneficial. I've gotten many a good deal because the seller can't figure out how to operate something. One classic is the 35mm SLR that "does not come with a charger" or listings where they have pictures of a camera with a lens with the cap attached so only those with a deeper insight will be able to decipher what they are looking at. I've essentially gotten a free Canon NFD 50 1.4 and 24 2.8 this week because of such behavior. Picked up a flektogon 35mm 2.4 for next to nothing as well because the seller had it listed as the name of the filter that was attached to it.
