Do you consider these ratings/winners justified? Could you do better?
If so..
>which video/picture (timestamp)?
>how would you have made it better?
>what skill set/gear is needed?

What do you think?

It's about the distance between you and the subject not the focal length

That's the ultimate secret of making good decision.
This is the most important lesson i've learnt by snapshitting with a fixed lens camera.

Consider the distance prior to lens's focal length.

I just realized

That nobody makes compact micro four thirds cameras anymore. Some of the models I can forgive them for not attempting to remake because of technical difficulties in terms of energy requirements where upgrades would be impossible (GM1, GM5, Pen-F etc), but the other non-niche cameras as well? They used to make new models quite often. Even the E-PL line seems to have been discontinued. This trend follows with digicams as well. Sony for instance haven't updated their RX line in ages.
Isn't this kinda gay? What's the holdup? Are we at a point in camera history where improvements are impossible?

Do you also shoot exclusively at the widest aperture?

No.4444700 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
Bokeh is the coolest effect ever and I exclusively shoot all my stuff at the widest aperture, all the time.
There's no downsides if you don't pixel peep.

This is the best bang for the buck fast lens.
Smooth focus ring, great build quality, SHARP, fast focus and nice black noir design.
Downside is weight, but come on, you can't lift a measly 1kg?

What's a good upgrade from the Canon RP to use with the Sigma 85/1.4 kit lens?

My currently camera doesn't track subjects precisely at f/1.4, resulting in out of focus pictures often.
I use servo, tracking and eye detection with speeds usually higher than 1/2000
