I am going out with this girl who is, like me, an otaku. We are both beyond being casuals about the sorts of anime that we watch (in other words, we have seen all the major shounen and should titles, like Ghost Files, Knights of the Zodiac, Cardcaptors etc.). A lot of what I watch would probably not be good anime for watching during a date (Mad Bull 34, Wild 7, et al.), so I am just looking at stuff that I can recommend.

So far, I have picrel, Flame of Recca, UC Gundam, plus G, Wing, SEED, VOTOMS, Macross, Area 88, Leiji Matsumoto titles and some CLAMP and Yuu Watase titles.

I'm not really a big anime watcher, but I have a vivid memory from my childhood that I've been trying to track down. It was an old school Japanese anime that used to come on after school in Asia. this was like 1996 to 1999 period (but it could have been an 80s anime).

The final scene of this anime left a strong impression on me as a kid because the hero surprisingly gets shot in the heart in the final scene and falls dramatically off the mountain.

What I remember:
the hero was wearing a brown uniform (or jacket). He was blond and handsome. The gunshot by the foe was a major surprise. the hero then starts falling in slow-mo and then falls off the mountain (to the right side of the screen) and then theres a long scene of him falling all the way down. I think there was an important love story between the hero and a lady that may or may have not been seeing all of this unfold.

I think it was a war anime maybe a world war type thing.

It has been impossible looking for this but i know an /a/utist can tell me in a second.

Step 2 shows a "Nintendo 3DS" folder as part of the files. I don't have one included in the .zip file.
I try to do step 3 without it, I get an error requiring that specific folder.
I manually make the folder and continue, I get an error explicitly telling me not to manually make the folder and that it will automatically do it for me.

What am I doing wrong here?

I'm looking for stories revolving around time loops. I went through the popular ones like Madoka, Steins;Gate, Groundhog Day and Edge of Tomorrow and I loved them so I'm looking for more.

There is this one Bakemonogatari wallpaper with the art style of picrel, switching between the characters.
I got the screenshot from a different one, however the one I'm looking for has the song "Far from any road" behind it and instead of being fullscreen, it is a thin-ish strip that shows just enough with the rest of the screen being black/dark.
I must've accidentally deleted just now when I was deleting other wallpapers.
I tried all the keywords I could think of, but I can't find it and I don't remember the name.
If anyone knows which one I'm talking about/you have it, please give me the name or the steam workshop link.
