>>4422294When I go on long hikes or trips I generally just pack the bare essentials for my photography stuff, my long lens, a landscape lens, body, and a few other things, and I wrap the long lens in a shemagh, and put it into a regular hiking pack.
I find the camera bags that fit the long telephotos are huge and bulky and you look like a sherpa. That's just me tho, I don't intent to resell all my shit for a huge amount of money so I don't mind it getting worn and dinged up a bit, that's the reality of it it you want to get good photos in the outdoors you gotta be willing to be a little rough with your gear.
