>>4427395Today the process was more important because I was doing a run of different papers to find the best one for albumen printing. I found a few excellent papers and will make a post detailing them soon. It may be really helpful for someone and save them some of the time I wasted trying to make a bad paper work and ending up with shit prints.
The temperature to harden the albumen layers(225) is too hot for flattening and dry mounting and I didn't want to fiddle with the temp setting on my press.
It was making the prints turn yellow when I was flattening them after drying and I was scared to press for more than like 10 seconds. I need to find a sharpie marker and figure out where 185 is also for flattening and dry mounting finished prints. It may have also been from thebsmall amount of moisture still in the paper... idk.
I was getting kind of annoyed and wanted my framed picture already lol. I had to redo my matt board because the blade was tearing the paper. 100% cotton museum 8 ply mat board is not cheap.
When I make mounted prints to try and sell them they will be perfect. I wouldn't feel okay having them any other way.
